Small primary care practices – those with five or fewer physicians – are a vital and substantial sector of the health care service landscape, often the only health care option for people in low-income, low-resource communities. Primary Care Development Corporation’s (PCDC) Small Practice Management Essentials course helps them to adopt and sustain organizational efficiencies to preserve their viability within their communities and the increasingly competitive health care landscape. The course provides practices with the knowledge and skills to keep pace with changing health care delivery, and value-based payment systems, and to participate in practice transformation opportunities.
The PCDC Small Practice Management Essentials self-paced courses are listed in alphabetical order below. They may be taken independently of each other; however, the courses do draw cross-reference information across topics.
These courses were developed for staff working in small practices (front desk staff, practice administrators, nurses, medical assistants, techs, and administrative staff).
